my morning babe

this is my little guy this morning playing on the porch and with the plants. he loves to get outside first thing just like me.

everyday

so for those of you who follow my blog, you see the entries have slowed down....that is because my almost 15 month old is everwhere and doing everything! life is busy with this little bud. he is more fun everyday, laughing and joking and always happy. i am so blessed to be his mama. i love watching him drink from his little cups! he is talking more saying ball, cheese, knee, beach, boat, fish.to.. all in his little special voice, almost dolphin like. he loves to dance, each time i am on the computer he has to get on my lap and he raises his arms to dance. i always have to put music on for him, so sweet. have a great day and enjoy every second.

family

what a great weekend. my brother came in from arizona and the rest from florida. it was so nice to have everybody here. my adorable mama insisted on cooking all of the italian food for saturday. mom, it was incredible as always. it is so sweet how you love to take care of us. easton loves your meatballs too!

so it is here! my baby boy says "mama" non stop! especially if he is upset, that is the first thing out of his mouth. it is truly amazing to hear. he has changed so much in the past week, it is incredible. my sweet boy... this has been posted on my blog before, but i had to put it on again. this was his first documented smile when he was around 5 days old. i can't take how cute and sweet this pic is!!!!! thanks to my husband for this shot!

this is easton's new thing... he will get one of his animals and lay on it and "love it". we find him doing this now. he truly is the sweetest child i have ever come across!! and yes i know he is mine, but he has a gentle soul......................

i think it is funny how when i take easton out of his high chair because he won't eat anymore....but he goes immediately to where crumbs fall on his seat to munch on them....

wine + cookies + curry

what a great evening at heather's! we drank wine and made cookies while the kids played and it turned into a dinner party! (always so excited when heather cooks....amazing asian chef!!). easton had a blast following mia around. nights like that are what friends are about!! love ya heather!

miss you piggy

it has been 2 moths since vinny passed and it still hurts so bad. i miss everything about him, that little confident man.... these are some of my fav old shots of me and him.

we jost got back from a lovely breakfast and time at the park...
i have to say i feel so blessed now, easton is sleeping on my shoulder as i type this....
i wish that everybody on earth could feel what i am now, a love of life and treasuring every moment, because life is so short and we need to savor every good moment. from the hardship of losing my brother and dog, to the bliss of having my son, i have felt it all.
the sun is shining and we are healthy.
i recently read an article on a 7 month old that needed a heart transplant and my heart melted. i hope everyone that reads this sends their good energy and prayers to that little babe and family.
